Hi, everyone ~ Pastor Merle here.

This is the season for youth and college ministries to plan Spring Break activities and Wilsey Bible Training Center will be hosting several groups. For a three-day period, these students will be studying God's word without distraction. Please be praying for us and them; that this would be a time of refreshing for their minds and hearts.

We at Wilsey Bible Training Center have been communicating with various ministries across the nation. Some have now made a decision to place a base here in Wilsey, KS. Others have plans to send students to WBTC for our fast-moving, nine-month Bible Learning program. This has been an answer to prayer and a confirmation of the vision for a central location for like ministries to work together in the Heart of the Midwest.

Recently, a business man from the Phoenix area began to invest in property of Wilsey. Plans for building are currently in the works. The details of his investment and coordination with the ministries of Wilsey are not yet available. Restoration of the downtown area for the purpose of drawing tourists is a possibility. Another investor has purchased city lots for construction of housing. We are praying about a restaurant for Wilsey, as most of the kitchen equipment has already been donated.

WilseyHim

The WilseyHim ministry is formed for the purpose of providing DVD Bible Commentary to Christians in small towns that do not have the availability of in-depth Bible teaching. All of the Bible is now available for Home Study Classes. We hope to invite the students that listen to the teachings by Pastor Merle Rothwell on DVD to meet quarterly for a time of fellowship and reflection.

Wilsey Bible Training Center

Classes began last July and have continued. These classes have been such a blessing. Various residents of the community join the students of WBTC on Sunday evenings. Wilsey Bible Training Center outreach home studies are located in Waverley and Larned, KS. These small studies are a great blessing.

We are already looking forward to enrollment this fall.  Classes will begin September 11, 2008, with the new dorms completed.

Living Stones Life Center

With a vision for the future, Living Stones Life Center is a gallery exhibit with an emphasis on the early stages of life in the womb, healing from loss, missions and adoption.
